Feature Description
BGP Filter-List Enhancements The BGP Filter List Enhancements feature includes the following 3 new match options.

  • AS Path Regex: Match routes using the user-provided AS path regular expression.

  • Metric: Match routes using the user-provided MED value.

  • Local preference:Match routes using the user-provided local preference value.

ENAv2 support in AWS VeloCloud Edge now supports AWS ENAv2, enabling improved packet processing and network throughput. For more information, see the Amazon Web Services (AWS) table in the SD-WAN Edge Performance and Scale Data topic.
Configure Overlay Route Control (ORC) Capabilities for Prefixes Advertised Towards Overlay VeloCloud SD-WAN allows network administrators to configure a community value for Connected, Static, Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) route prefixes that they advertise to the overlay. Network administrators can also modify the ASN value for route prefixes when they advertise these prefixes to the overlay. Edge Remote Diagnostic Enhancements This feature offers users enhanced options for specifying additional parameters for existing remote diagnostic commands, including Ping and Traceroute, and a new remote diagnostic command, My Traceroute (MTR), for troubleshooting network conditions. Enhanced DBA For FWA Edge

VeloCloud SD-WAN supports enhanced Dynamic Bandwidth Adjustment (eDBA) to respond in real time to both increases and decreases in link bandwidth, when they fluctuate beyond or below the last measured value. By expanding the scope of DBA, the Edge now optimizes performance for scenarios in which the majority of user traffic on the link passes through a hub or directly to the Internet, rather than through a gateway. Link Insights On-Prem Support This feature enables continuous monitoring of link-level Quality of Experience (QoE) metrics, including latency, jitter, and packet loss. Link Insights identifies degraded connections and quantifies the effectiveness of SD-WAN optimization. For more information, see Link Insights.
LLDP support on Edge

VeloCloud SD-WAN Edge uses Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) to discover vendor-neutral devices and automatically determine physical interconnections between LAN devices. By providing data on directly connected neighbors, LLDP simplifies network management and streamlines troubleshooting. It automatically generates network topology maps, enabling administrators to quickly identify the specific devices and ports connected to any edge port. Qosmos TD IDPS Integration Firewall IDS/IPS signature bundles have changed from NTICS-based bundles to open-source ET Open signature bundles. For more information, see View IDS/IPS Signatures and Monitor Security Overview.
