Arista Networks announces the upcoming end of sale for the 7250QX Series 40 Gigabit Ethernet Switches. The product part numbers covered by this announcement are listed below in Table 1. The last day to order the affected products is December 30th 2018. Customers with active support contracts will continue to receive support from Arista TAC (Technical Assistance Center) as per the dates listed in Table 2, the End-of-Life Milestones.

Migration Options

Customers are encouraged to plan a migration to newer models that are equivalent or better. The newer models are more power efficient, support existing features and offer enhanced functionality.

The 7260QX-64 offers a 40GbE migration, while both the 7260CX-64 and 7260CX3-64 offer higher performance with support for 100GbE and 40GbE interfaces.
