Cable Length Measurement (CLM) is a feature that approximates path delays in cables and derives cable lengths from path delays. It is primarily used for features where knowing the path delay is important, such as hyperports. Upon full implementation of the protocol, EOS CLM would be capable of performing CLM message exchange with connected devices running EOS or other systems that support the CLM protocol.
