Licensing

Direct Enterprise customers can view and manage SD-WAN licenses and utilization data using the Orchestrator UI. The Licensing feature is not accessible from the Orchestrator for the Partners and Partner customers. Partners can still view and manage licenses using the VeloCloud Licensing portal. For more information, see VeloCloud SD-WAN License Management Guide.

As an Enterprise Superuser, follow the below steps to access the Licensing screen:
  1. In the Enterprise portal, on the Global Navigation bar, expand the Enterprise Applications drop-down menu.
  2. Select Global Settings service.
  3. From the left menu, select Licensing. The Licensing window appears:

The Licensing window displays four tabs: Utilization, SD-WAN Entitlements, SASE Entitlements, and Add-Ons.

Utilization

The Utilization tab displays subscriptions usage information of different SKU types such as SD-WAN, Dedicated Hosted Orchestrator, Dedicated Hosted Gateway, Enhanced Firewall Services (EFS), and so on. Each SKU tile has data and a gauge to show a visual representation of subscriptions usage. Usage information includes the following data:
  • Active Entitlements- Displays the amount of licenses that account have purchased through orders.
  • Active Sites- Displays the number of active Edges that are under the account.
  • Over Utilization Sites- Displays the number of over utilized sites. If an account has more Edges than licenses, that means it is over using.

Select Download Report to download an Excel file with the License utilization information.
