Setting Up DMF
Pre-installation Checklist
- Ensure that the installation prerequisites are satisfied, as mentioned in the DMF Controller Node Installation prerequisites section of the DMF Deployment Guide.
- To set up the Controller Node appliance, please refer to Installing and Upgrading the DMF Controller Node section of the DMF Deployment Guide.
Note: Single-node is not supported for production deployments but can be used for training or feature evaluation.
Setting up Single Node DMF
To set up a single node, please refer to Configuring Active Controller using the First Boot Script section of the DMF Deployment Guide.
Setting up Two-node DMF Cluster
To set up a standby DMF Controller, please refer to Joining Standby Controller to Existing Cluster section of the DMF Deployment Guide.
Log into the DMF Web Interface
After DMF is running on the multi-node appliance cluster (as per the steps outlined in the Arista Analytics Deployment Guide), enter the DMF GUI via its IP/Hostname with default username (admin) and password. The Controller Node should be displayed.
