End of CCF/BCF Software Support for HPE platforms

September 15th, 2020

This software support bulletin is to notify Arista Networks customers that Arista CCF/BCF version 4.7 will be the last CCF/BCF version that will support the HPE products listed above. The products affected will continue to receive TAC support and software bug fixes on CCF/BCF 4.7 through its end of support date of June 1st, 2023 or HPE Hardware platform EOL date, whichever is earlier.

End of Software Support for BMF 6.1

September 8th, 2020

The Arista DMF/CCF Life Cycle policy defines a 36 month lifecycle for each major release train. At that time, BMF 6.1 will be considered End of Support on Nov 1st, 2020 with no further official software support on this version from Arista. This notice is intended to serve as a reminder of this upcoming event. Customers running BMF 6.1 should work with their Arista sales team to discuss possible upgrade options.

September 8th, 2020

The Arista DMF/CCF Life Cycle policy defines a 36 month lifecycle for each major release train. BCF 4.2 will be considered End of Support on Nov 1st, 2020 with no further official software support on this version from Arista. This notice is intended to serve as a reminder of this upcoming event. Customers running BCF 4.2 should work with their Arista sales team to discuss possible upgrade options.

End of Software Support for EOS 4.20

June 30, 2020

The EOS 4.20 software train will reach end of support on November 21st, 2020. At that time, EOS 4.20 will be considered End of Support with no further official software support on this version from Arista.

End of Software Support for CloudVision Portal Release 2018.2

August 5, 2020

The Arista CloudVision Life Cycle policy defines a 24 month lifecycle for each major release train. The CloudVision Portal Release 2018.2 software train will reach the 24 month timeline on October 30, 2020. At that time, CloudVision Portal Release 2018.2 will be considered End of Support with no further official software support on this version from Arista. .

End of Software Support for 7500E/7280E Series

April 6th, 2020

This software support bulletin is to notify Arista Networks customers that Arista EOS version 4.24 and later will not support products from the 7500E/7280E Series for which end of sale has been announced.
