Persistent port security is a feature which ensures that port-security MAC cache is preserved across link flap and system reload. The feature is useful when it is desired to have the same set of already allowed secure MAC addresses on a particular interface after system reload or link flaps. There are separate global configurations to enable persistent port-security for shutdown and protect mode.
