SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- May 11, 2015 -- Arista Networks, Inc. (NYSE: ANET) today announced it has received certification of its application Arista Cloud Networking Portfolio with ServiceNow®. Certification by ServiceNow signifies that Arista Cloud Networking Portfolio has successfully completed a set of defined tests focused on integration interoperability, security and performance. The certification also ensures that best practices are utilized in the design and implementation of Arista’s Cloud Networking Portfolio with ServiceNow.

“This certification highlights the open architecture of Arista EOS and the power of ServiceNow in delivering an automated customer solution enabling greater operating expenditure (opex) savings and higher service level agreements for today's data center environments," said Christian Renaud Senior Analyst, Networking for 451 Research. Leveraging the power of the ServiceNow Service Management and workflow management platform with Arista EOS (extensible operating system), the newly certified integration is expected to be the first of many tools that will allow complete management of the network infrastructure via ServiceNow.

Customers can have complete configuration archival and versioning, merging DevOps concepts with the power of ServiceNow. The Arista Cloud Networking Portfolio integration with the ServiceNow platform allows users to backup and track changes to switch configurations minimizing operator errors and resulting in less downtime and greater SLA’s.
