EOS devices can accept gNMI Get requests with CLI commands as paths. Such requests must have the "origin" field of the path set to “cli”. When the “encoding” field of a Get request is set to “JSON” or “JSON_IETF”, or is not set, the output is returned as the eAPI model of the command, serialized as JSON.
