Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a background selling networking products in the Data Center to a mixture of mid-range accounts, large sized organizations and/or local government / education.  A strong rolodex is a big plus.  Arista appeals very strongly to engineering-centric organizations and a strong technical acumen has proven to be highly valuable.  This role provides a lot of latitude to shape your own territory and an independent, self-starter with initiative tends to flourish at Arista.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales objectives within the territory using a variety of sales techniques
  • Identify key account targets
  • Arrange meetings with potential clients
  • Work with sales engineers to design and position effective Arista solutions
  • Establish and manage key channel relationships in your territory
  • Establish and manage key ecosystem relationship in your territory
  • Conduct demand generation events
  • Attend relevant industry events and conferences to build business
  • Work closely with other territory and named account managers
  • Put together sales strategies to target large accounts
  • Keep up to date with industry competitors and competitive strategies
 
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a territory account manager
  • Relevant industry background from a competitor or channel partner
  • Good rolodex and relationships within the territory
  • Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Proven track record of building business and hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Solid technical acumen in networking
  • Experience selling to the data center
