Security Advisories

Arista Networks is committed to maintaining the highest standards of security across our product portfolio. Leveraging extensive testing and monitoring of vulnerabilities to isolate and neutralize threats early, Arista's Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) provides global coverage for public reporting of possible security vulnerabilities across the product portfolio.

The PSIRT team monitors industry-wide vulnerability reporting as well as providing a single point of contact for customers and interested third parties to investigate and identify potential threats. The PSIRT team also works to communicate these issues back to the user community in a timely manner.

Arista's approach to vulnerability management and links to best practice guidelines can be found here.

For technical assistance with workarounds and hotfix installations recommended in security advisories, please contact the Arista Support team at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Report security vulnerabilities found in Arista products to the PSIRT team via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. It is recommended to use Arista's PGP key for secure and private communication directly with the PSIRT team.

Arista PSIRT is happy to work with researchers on discovered vulnerabilities in Arista products, the assignment of CVEs, and timelines for responsible disclosure. If a researcher discovers a new vulnerability they will be acknowledged in the advisory related to the vulnerability. Arista PSIRT is interested in receiving reports on issues affecting features in both Arista code as well as Open Source Software used in Arista products. Security issues found in Open Source Software which do not affect Arista products are out of the scope of Arista and should be referred to the appropriate CNA found here.

PSIRT Advisories

The following advisories and referenced materials are provided on an "as is" basis for use at your own risk. Arista Networks reserves the right to change or update the advisories without notice at any time.

Security Advisory 0198

October 6, 2026

On affected Arista Wi-Fi access points, an unauthenticated attacker with network access to the capture service can send a crafted packet to cause the service to crash or potentially achieve remote code execution. This exploit requires an uncommonly used non-default streaming mode.

Security Advisory 0197

October 6, 2026

On affected Arista Wi-Fi access points, a memory corruption vulnerability exists in access point’s wired uplink network endpoints. An unauthenticated attacker can crash the sensor service or potentially achieve remote code execution. Exploitation requires the attacker to be on the same network segment as the access point’s wired uplink.

Security Advisory 0196

October 6, 2026

On affected Arista access points configured with VXLAN tunnelling and L2-proxy (a specific configuration unique to the VESPA use-case), a wireless client associated to the tunnelled SSID can send a crafted packet, causing the access point to reveal memory contents in network traffic. No write primitive or remote code execution is possible.

Security Advisory 0195

October 6, 2026

This issue was discovered internally by Arista, and the company is not aware of any malicious exploitation of this vulnerability in customer networks.

Security Advisory 0194

October 6, 2026

Two security vulnerabilities have been identified in Arista access point firmware affecting the Captive Portal feature. Both vulnerabilities allow an unauthenticated wireless client that is associated with a captive-portal-enabled SSID to crash the portal service with a single crafted HTTP request.

Security Advisory 0192

October 6, 2026

All of the CVEs covered in this advisory affect only CloudVision-CUE on-premises. CV-CUE is Arista’s Wi-Fi management service and, in on-premises deployments, is hosted as a service on the CloudVision Portal on-premises platform. Customers running CV-CUE services should review the affected versions to assess their impact.

Security Advisory 0193

October 6, 2026

On affected Arista Wi-Fi access points with captive portal, or application firewall enabled on at least one SSID, a vulnerability in the wireless gateway service could allow an unauthenticated network-adjacent attacker to send a crafted packet that triggers a stack overflow, resulting in a denial-of-service condition or potentially execute arbitrary code on the device. The wireless gateway service is automatically restarted after a crash, allowing repeated exploitation attempts.

Security Advisory 0191

October 6, 2026

The CVE covered in this advisory affects only CloudVision-CUE on-premises. CV-CUE is Arista’s Wi-Fi management service and, in on-premises deployments, is hosted as a service on the CloudVision Portal on-premises platform. Customers running CV-CUE services should review the affected versions to assess their impact.

Security Advisory 0190

October 6, 2026

All of the CVEs covered in this advisory affect only CloudVision-CUE on-premises. CV-CUE is Arista’s Wi-Fi management service and, in on-premises deployments, is hosted as a service on the CloudVision Portal on-premises platform. Customers running CV-CUE services should review the affected versions to assess their impact.

Security Advisory 0189

October 6, 2026

All CVEs covered in this advisory affect platforms running CloudVision Portal (On-Premises), where insufficient validations in the Software Management Studio Software Repository and the Network Provisioning Image Repository could allow an authenticated remote attacker with specific permissions to read or write files on the platform file system beyond the intended scope through specially crafted requests and/or crafted file uploads.
